Founded and established in 2016, York Bloggers aims to bring bloggers, brands and businesses from York and across Yorkshire together – to collaborate. Whether this is in the form of events, reviews, networking opportunities and more. Networking with other bloggers can be a great way of meeting others who are likeminded, by building connections and relationships.
I founded the network for York based bloggers, to create an accessible place for us to collaborate. York is a beautiful city full of creativity, so we want to help encourage you all to collaborate and work together. The world of blogging can be confusing, for both brands and bloggers, so hopefully we can come together to collectively create successful collaborations in the York and Yorkshire area.
If you have any questions or queries, or would like to discuss working with York Bloggers, please feel free to contact us at email@example.com.
Here are some helpful blog posts I’ve created for bloggers and brands to understand better how we can work together:
The Bloggers Guide To Working With Brands – I have created this handy guide with tips and advice on what brands are (usually) looking for when working with bloggers and how to go about approaching brands, when the time is right.
Blogger Outreach Explained For Brands And Bloggers – In this blog post, I have compiled some advice for both brands and bloggers on how blogger outreach can work for both sides.
An Open Letter To The Brands Who Undervalue Bloggers – This post was a result of a frustrating month, it was really just to vent but I would also like to think it makes quite an interesting read.
Please note: This network DOES NOT guarantee you opportunities (paid, events, etc) as bloggers. We will share information regarding any opportunities and events which we have permission to share. The idea behind our network is to be helpful and promote a collaborative space.
This network is for bloggers and therefore general advertising of any type is not allowed. The sharing of blogger opportunities, blogger events, blog giveaways, any questions and of course general blog chit chat is allowed.
If you advertise or repeatedly link your blog/event/competition on the wall, you will be deleted from the Facebook group. All competitions should state an end date when posting.
