This week I have decided to share my thoughts on the Yankee Candle, Luau Party. It feels like it’s a rare experience to have sunny weather here in the UK lately, so I chose to review a summer scent to cheer myself up.
Luau Party description: “Join the celebration . . . every day is a festival with the fun and fruity mix of orange fizz, sparkling peach, and vanilla ice.”
On first impressions, I thought this would be a fun scent.
Before burning Luau Party, it smells like mixture of orange, peach and vanilla scents. It has a fruity, summery flavour. So far, so good.
The plus side is that even with summer fragrances, they will make your home feel so cosy and warm.
I do love the bright orange colour of the wax. I could smell the scent before I’d even opened the box. However, I did think it would smell much stronger while burning than it actually did.
I’d like to also note that these did burn well, but the smell didn’t stay for very long. The strongest flavour I got was a hint of vanilla.
I don’t know if I’d just got a dud set, as it did smell so lovely before I lit them. I just didn’t get much a scent from them as they were burning. I’d buy Luau Party again, if I knew the smell would fill the room like some of the other Yankee Candles I’ve tried.
