Travel & Create Memories

Holidays and travelling is great, it’s such a nice feeling getting to create memories with your loved ones. Destination2 contacted me and offered me the opportunity to write about my travel memories and how I document any photos I take. I was gifted a Not On The High Street gift card to use towards items I need to create memories.

Every holiday is different. For example, my travels to Disneyland Paris varied so many in regards to experiences, compared to my trip to Amsterdam. Obviously, there are so many beautiful places to explore during your travels. Disneyland Paris is one of the most perfect destinations because it is just so incredible to photograph.

In a recent survey by Destination2, the results showed that “29 per cent admit to leaving snaps on the computer. A further 29 per cent admit to not doing anything with them at all, while over 14 per cent go as far as putting them in a separate folder on their phone.” If you are anything like me and enjoy doing something creative to display your photos, I spend hours searching the internet because there are so many great photo display ideas.

With my Not On The High Street gift card, I treated myself to a beautiful personalised book by DESIGNED. I chose this notebook because it has blank pages which are ideal for getting a bit crafty. You can stick in your own photographs and you can also write any notes or nice quotes. I personalised it by including my name and a travel quote I like.

There are plenty of creative ways to use and display your holiday snaps. Websites such as Not On The High Street have plenty of awesome ideas and you can also use Pinterest for crafty inspiration. Don’t let your holiday/travel snaps go to waste, display them somewhere proudly. Whether it’s in the form of a photo book or inside a frame, you should show off your adventures.

Disclaimer: I was given a gift card for NotOnTheHighstreet to use towards a purchase for creating my own travel memories. All thoughts, opinions and images are my own.

This is a great reminder to print out photos. So easy to keep them forever bond on our devices.
I remember the days of having to get photos developed. I do like having something physical to hold and keep. Thanks for sharing your blog 😊
