Lush in York recently announced they were shutting for a refurbishment. I’ll be the first to admit, I genuinely missed the store whilst it was closed. Lush York have put on a variety of wonderful events over the past year or so, such as the Lush York Fathers Day event and #LushSpring. I was excited to check out my new local Lush store in York after their refurb.
When I got the email to invite me to the re-opening, I was super excited. I couldn’t wait to be one of the first people to see the brand new look of the store in York. I am a hard core fan of Lush, I’ve loved the brand since forever. As you can see from the image below of my beautiful friend Emma who works at Lush, the lighting is brighter now (in a good way) and the tills are wider/better positioned.
I am so happy that the Sleepy body lotion is now for sale on the shelves of Lush again. This is one of my favourite Lush products ever, as it smells beautiful of lavender oil and the scent seems to make me feel so calm. Throughout the evening there was a variety of product demos about some of the new ranges, including the Sleepy body lotion presented by Emma.
The new re-design of Lush York is spacious and they have definitely tried to make the store as accessible as possible for everyone. Thank you to the whole team at Lush York for hosting such a wonderful event and a big thank you for my goodie bag full of amazing Lush products. I am well and truly stocked up on Lush products once again.
Has your local Lush store had a re-design? What did you think of it? Let me know in the comments!
