Summer Essentials with Homesense

Home has a special meaning to every single person. It’s a place where we feel safe, we create memories with our family and when we generally spend our time at home, we want to relax. Homesense recently offered me a voucher to spend in my local store, in search of some summer essentials.

The wonderful guys at Homesense sent me a £30 voucher to spend at their store in York. Set with a mission to find summer essentials, I was overwhelmed with all of the amazing products available. In the next couple of months I will be moving in with my boyfriend Kiel, so it was nice to look for some items ready for our flat together.

Hello Summer cushion – £12.99

My first spot was this cushion which is bright and colour, and says “hello summer” across the bottom edge of it. This could be used in our future garden or for sitting on our future balcony, depending which flat we decide on. It’s really colourful and makes me super cheerful just looking at it.

Gold Love sign – £3.00 (reduced)

This beautiful bargain was in the reduced section. I like girly signs and positive quotes to hang up around my home. I am slightly cliché, I know.

Candle Chimenea fire – £7.99

As soon as I spotted this bad boy, I knew I needed it for my future flat. It’s genuinely so beautiful, I haven’t properly unboxed it because I want it to be in perfect condition for when I move. This will be lovely to light on a Friday evening whilst enjoying a cocktail.

Ice Cream Sprinkle Shaker – £3.99

Shaped like ice creams, these are the perfect addition to your kitchen this summer. There were also matching ice creamed themed plates, bowls and cups. I want the whole collection if I’m honest! I like my things to match.

SweetPeople Marshmallow Stick – £2.99

As I was going to pay for my purchases at the check-out, I spotted this stick of brightly coloured marshmallow sweets and decided I needed one for myself.

There were honestly so many amazing and unique home and garden products – I really did struggle to narrow my options down. I’m so pleased with everything I did decide on in the end though. Head to your nearest Homesense store (or Homesense York if you live here!), to see the array of products they have to offer in store for this summer.

Disclaimer: This blog post is in collaboration with Homesense. I received a voucher to spend in store. All thoughts, opinions and images are genuinely my own.
