Many people flocked to Sharrow Vale Road today for Sharrow Vale Market Day.
The market is organised by the Sharrow Vale Community Association and volunteers.
Matt was complaining that he was hungry, so we headed straight for the food stalls. After walking around a few times, he decided on a burger from a german-themed food stall.
Live music fills the air each time, with local artists and buskers playing for the crowd. There is such a community spirit on market days.
One of my favourite stalls is Heavenly Cheesecake. Their cheesecake is absolutely gorgeous, although I shouldn’t really eat it because of my dairy intolerance.
They have a variety of yummy and exciting flavours, usually with some samples to try. As you can see from my photograph, they had almost sold out of certain cheesecakes.
We spotted people walking about drinking Pimms, so Matt bought me a glass. I’ve never tried it before, but it was so fruity and refreshing.
I always treat myself to a delicious cupcake from this gorgeous cupcake company. Their displays never fail to look amazing.
There is always such a variety of stalls on offer. Stalls included cheeses, buffalo, pork, trout, mushrooms, cooking oil, bread, cakes and so much more.
Sharrow Vale Market is the perfect place to pick up some locally grown/made produce and to also see what local businesses, traders and crafters have to offer. A lot of hard work and organisation clearly goes into each market event and they always do such an amazing job.
If you ever get the chance to attend Sharrow Vale Market, please do. It’s such a lovely experience with brilliant stalls and food.
For future dates, head over to the Sharrow Vale Community Assocation website.
