Review: Spring Menu & Refreshing Cocktails at Browns Leeds

Browns Brasserie & Bar Leeds have recently had a spectacular refurb and they invited myself and a select bunch of bloggers along to sample their Spring Menu and taste test some delicious cocktails. I asked my lovely blogger pal Laura if she would like to come along with me, as we have a history of bonding over cocktails.

We had the opportunity to try a selection of cocktails from the refreshing spring menu. Featuring seasonal herbs and gin (lots of gin!), we also had the pleasure of making our own cocktail. All of the cocktails are priced at £4.50 on the seasonal cocktail menu.

After a couple of cocktails, it was time for the food! We sampled an amazing seafood platter, I was in seafood heaven because I was the only one out of three of us who liked seafood.

Next we were offered an assortment of canapés, including pork and apple sauce, and beetroot hummus with feta on fried bread. The beetroot hummus was super colourful and tasted awesome.

The customer service at Browns has been incredible during every single one of my visits to their Leeds restaurant. The location of Browns Leeds is ideal for some well deserved after-work or weekend drinks. Thank you to the team at Browns for inviting me and a plus one, and a huge thanks to Steve for teaching us some excellent cocktail making skills.

The evening was an assortment of colourful Spring themed food and beautiful cocktails, with such lovely company. I really enjoyed my evening. Having many of their restaurants in locations across the UK, you will probably have one near you. Check out Browns Leeds and their fancy Spring Menu, especially now they’ve had their fancy new refurbishment.

Disclaimer: I was invited to try the new menu at Browns Brasserie & Bar Leeds, in return for a blog post. All opinions, thoughts and photographs are genuinely my own.
