Have you ever wondered about essential oils and how you can use them safely in your life? I personally love a good subscription box, so when the kind people at Simply Earth offered to send me one of their essential oils subscription boxes in exchange for a review – I was happy to accept. I’ve used certain essential oils in my home for a good few years now, but I’m always interested in learning more and discovering alternatives I haven’t yet tried.
Each month, Simply Earth have a different theme for their essential oils recipe boxes. The subscription box I received was all about Home Care and spring cleaning. Each of the essential oils comes with a printed card, which explains lots of useful information about that specific oil and how it can be used effectively. First of all, I would just like to say how brilliant their customer service is, as I had a bit of an issue with my delivery coming from the US and they responded quickly and were so helpful. Each Simply Earth subscription box comes with four essential oils to help create recipes, which serve different purposes. Plus, Simply Earth make a difference by donating 13% of profits towards ending human trafficking.
My Simply Earth Home Care essential oils subscription box contained, as well as castile soap and a spray bottle:
This blend of Patchouli, Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood, Lavender and Sweet Orange is normally used to naturally reduce body odour, but it can also be used to clean your home. It’s a lovely blend which makes everything smell wonderful.
The lemon essential oil comes from the fruit peel of a lemon and it is a great natural cleaner, with a calming and uplifting aroma.
Nutmeg has a spicy and woodsy scent, which blends well with the other oils listed in this blog post, to create a natural and clean scent.
This has always been a personal favourite of mine, which I use fairly often so I was pleased to see it included in this months box! Tea tree is a powerful cleaner, respiratory support and a must-have essential oil in your home.
Here’s the offer I have for you guys! You will receive a FREE $20 eGift card and a bonus box, when you subscribe with my code: LOUISEROSEFREE whilst also using my Simply Earth affiliate link. It’s worth noting that all of Simply Earth’s pricing is in USD (US Dollars) $, as they are based in the US and they currently ship to the US and Canada.
Next months box is all about pets, which will include tips for using essential oils safely around your pets. This also sounds really interesting as I’ve read online a lot about peoples concerns with regards to having fur babies and using essential oils in your home. I’m sure the pet box will be very useful.
Do you have any favourite essential oils which you already use? Let me know in the comments!
