Review: JK Mineral Makeup

I am definitely one for trying new things, especially when it comes to makeup. When JK Mineral Makeup offered to send me some samples, I was very keen to give the products a whirl. Jody Knight is a permanent makeup artist, providing cosmetic treatments and she also has a range of mineral makeup which she sells on her website.

JK Mineral Finish Powder Foundation

I have very sensitive skin and I’m always happy to try out a foundation which is kind to my skin. The powder foundation definitely didn’t disappoint. I chose the light shade due to my pale skin, which I found was the correct colour for me. The foundation felt quite silky on my skin, but I had to use a fair bit as I found the coverage to be quite light.

JK Mineral Eye Shadow Moonlight Blue

If I’m honest, I was a bit dubious about this colour before it arrived. After trying out a few different looks with the moonlight blue eye shadow from JK Mineral Makeup, it is very stunning. I love the hints of shimmer and sparkles from the bits of glitter mixed with the beautiful deep blue colour, which is incredibly vibrant. I’ve also applied this wet to create a useful liquid eyeliner.

If you are new to mineral makeup and want to give it a go, I would definitely recommend doing so. The two products I reviewed are wonderful and felt great on my skin. Find out more about the JK Mineral Makeup range by heading to the Jody Knight website.
