A few weekends back, I was given the opportunity to review a ‘Free-Flowing Deal’ by Bookatable.com. After having a browse of the website, I chose Gourmet Burger Kitchen in York. Before this visit to Gourmet Burger Kitchen, I’d never been to one of their restaurants before. However, Kiel and I had ordered via Deliveroo, so I already knew how delicious their burgers are.

At GBK York, the inside of the restaurant had an American diner vibe to it, with a very chilled atmosphere. The staff at Gourmet Burger Kitchen were extremely helpful and friendly. The menu I was there to review was the Burger Bundle, which is available from 5pm and for the bargain price of £9.95 you get a burger, small fries and refreshing drinks.

From the Fresh & Fizzy drinks selection, Kiel chose the Strawberry & Elderflower and I had the Elderflower. I did consider having the same drink as Kiel, but strawberry is a little too sweet for me. These drinks were ideal, as the weather was glorious on the day of our visit. We were definitely ready for our drinks.

Kiel opted for the Cheese Burger, with an option of 3 different cheeses to choose from on your burger. I chose the Classic Chicken Burger, which was delicious and I’ve had previously when we’ve ordered using Deliveroo, but I did have major food envy of Kiel’s cheese burger. I mean, just look at that melting cheese!

Our food was so delicious and it definitely lived up to our expectations. The value for money is really worth it, £9.95 is brilliant to say you get a burger, fries and a drink. The York restaurant is spacious and has plenty of tables inside. Click the link to find out more information about the Free-Flowing Deals available across the UK on Book A Table.
