Today’s blog post is in collaboration with Femme Luxe Finery, who gifted me some clothes of my choice in exchange for a blog post review. Femme Luxe Finery is a fashion brand who say they are all about style, sass and social media. “No matter what your style” – Femme Luxe aim to have something for every style type, which I actually agree with as after browsing for a little while I did find items which are my kind of thing fashion-wise. I like that they also have a “trends” section on their website, so you can view items in the Femme Luxe collection which follow that specific trend e.g. neon trend, which is huge right now due to summer festival season. As well as currently having a sitewide sale, they offer regular discount codes and student discount.

I wore the Pink Rolled Sleeve Collared Jacket, paired perfectly with a black dress from River Island, to a wedding this weekend. I love jackets at the moment, especially due to the hot weather we’ve been having. The sizing of the jacket is perfect, it’s classy, versatile and I feel it can be worn for so many occasions, such as for interviews or to a wedding. I chose the pale pink because I wanted something summery and feminine, instead of my usual black or white jacket choice.
Colour: Black with white digits
Size: XL 12/14

Due to the recent hot weather here in the UK, I struggled to find a suitable time to wear the Black Digits Printed Slogan Oversized T-Shirt Dress and get photos as I didn’t want to boil. This will be perfect for autumn and winter when it starts to get colder. I also love that this t-shirt dress is super casual and effortless, but you can still wear it out and about. I ordered the biggest size I could in this, as I guessed it would definitely fit me and it did!
Additionally, I also ordered the Black Long Sleeve Mesh Overlay Bodysuit (currently £12.99, reduced from £29.98), which I absolutely loved and it is totally my style (I love a gorgeous plunge neckline) but unfortunately, when I took it out of the packaging to try it on, one of the straps stitching was loose and the strap ended up breaking off – thus making it unwearable due to the broken strap. I was gutted. The other item I ordered was the Black Satin Belted Shirt Dress (currently £15.99, reduced from £35.98) – this is a stunning dress, made with a beautiful satin material, perfect to wear for an occasion such as a meal out. Sadly however it was a size too small and I couldn’t quite get it over my curvy hips.
As with most fashion websites when you order clothes online, it can be hit and miss with regards to the sizing. Two out of the four items I chose were perfect (which I am pleased about), it’s just such a shame one item didn’t fit and the other item had a faulty strap. I’m very pleased with the oversized t-shirt dress and the pink jacket though, so I’d honestly recommend giving the Femme Luxe Finery collections a browse on the website, as you will more than likely find something that matches your style.
