Finding a salon that I trust with my nails is a major task for me. I was recently invited to an event for bloggers the Q61 Studio in Leeds. Q61 offer beauty and nail treatments, such as eyelash extensions and more. I’ve had many disasterous experiences over the years, so when I find somewhere that I like and everything is done in a professional manner, its safe to say I’m usually impressed.
Founded by a husband and wife duo, Michael and Helena Linsky, Q61 is a beauty salon based in Leeds city centre. With an aim to provide the best customer service experience, in an accessible location, the Q61 studio is located on one of the busiest streets in Leeds.
Customer service is very important to the duo, aiming to make customers feel as welcome as possible. I don’t like feeling rushed out of a salon, as it ruins the relaxed feeling I get when I visit a salon.
I arrived at Q61 Leeds beauty studio to a champagne reception. First impressions – I was impressed with the friendly vibe and modern interior at Q61. For the event, the room was decorated with balloons and beautiful cupcakes which said Q61 on them.
Pre-event I was sent a list of treatments to choose from so that I could be booked in. It took me a good while to choose as they all sounded so lovely. I chose to have an OPI manicure and classic eyelash extensions as my treatments.
My first treatment of the evening was the OPI manicure. The lovely therapist asked me what colour I would like, so I explained I love anything which sparkles or involves glitter. She suggested picking a colour which naturally has glitter in it. I couldn’t decide between two particular silver colours so she asked me if I would like both, to which I agreed. I’m so glad I decided to have my nails done as I absolutely loved them and they lasted about two weeks before any of the colour began to chip away.
My second treatment of the evening was the classic eyelash extensions. I’d never had these done before but I have friends who had, and theirs looked good on them. My eyes did water slightly but it didn’t actually take long at all for the lashes to be put on by the wonderful beauty therapist.
I loved how realistic and (to be honest) natural the eyelash extensions looked on me. I was very pleased with them and I would definitely have them done again. I didn’t have to do my lashes for work or going out for a week or so! It saved me so much time.
Before leaving I managed to snap a quick selfie in one of the mirrors, to show you my eyelash extensions and my beautiful nails.
I would honestly highly recommend Q61 Studio Leeds, as this was such a wonderful experience and their customer service is excellent. Every thought and detail put into the customer experience is impressive. The salon itself is very trendy and has a range of treatments to offer.
