Disclaimer: GIFTED – I was invited to attend the Botanical Floral – Spring Collection VIP event, at Pure Collection, York. The event was complimentary for those who were invited, in which I had my nails done. I was also gifted a goodie bag which contained products and brand materials to take home with me. It is with great pleasure that I am able to share the events I attend as a blogger. I was recently invited along to the Spring Collection VIP event at Pure Collection, York. Pure Collection is a British brand, founded in Harrogate, Yorkshire, who specialise in cashmere and fashion. Unlike many other fashion brands, they operate from Yorkshire. Their York store is based on Stonegate, surrounded by other independent stores and businesses.
Upon arriving at the Pure Collection store in York, I was welcomed by friendly smiles and offered a drink. I had a browse around the store and looked at all the beautiful styles, which includes women’s fashion, men’s wear, accessories and more. Within the store, they also had a floral wall exclusively for the event to match the botanical floral theme.
The food for the event was provided by the always delicious, Betty’s York and the drinks were supplied by Slingsby Gin. The gin was served in a glass with cool ice and fresh raspberries, with Fever Tree tonic water as the mixer. Betty’s had supplied the afternoon with a mixture of gorgeous cakes and biscuits.
Later on during the event, there was an exclusive talk with some of Pure Collection’s team of buyers. The talk was very interesting and informative, which included mood boards of each of the styles within the spring collection. They explained a little into how trends impact on the decisions made for different collections. Both ladies also stayed behind to answer any questions guests may have had about the collection and products.
During the afternoon, I had my nails done by the incredibly lovely Katie from Sephora Total Beauty, York. We chatted about our pets which was nice. Katie asked me to pick a colour of my choice from the colour selection she had brought along with her. I decided on a hot/deep pink colour, which I thought matched nicely with the botanical floral theme. Based in Haxby, Sephora York offer a selection of beauty treatments and packages.
I am a huge fan of scarves, so when I saw this stunning scarf inside my goodie bag, I was completely overjoyed. The botanical floral print on the scarf is beautiful, with floral pastel colours. The texture of the scarf is incredibly soft and I have worn it when ever it has been scarf weather since. I’m highly impressed with the quality of the scarf, as I have other branded scarves in which I would say the quality doesn’t even come close. I was even given some products so that I can care for my scarf correctly and keep it in a decent condition.
Towards the end of the event, I was handed a beautiful goodie bag. I don’t like looking at my goodie bags until I get home, as I don’t want to come across as rude. The goodie bag contained a selection of Botanical Floral themed gifts, including the scarf above, as well as a few little extras from other local businesses such as Crabtree & Evelyn.
Thank you so much to Pure Collection York and their team for inviting me along to your lovely event. It was such a wonderful afternoon, I really enjoyed myself and there were so many beautiful styles which caught my eye. I absolutely love my scarf! Thank you so much again.
