London is a place which I rarely get to visit. When I do visit, I end up feeling a little overwhelmed as it is such a busy place with a lot of different things to do and see. Discount London asked me to write a blog post about my London City Break Bucket List, so I’ve included some more traditional tourist attractions and some which are a little different – all of them which I would love to go do.
The Beach – South Bank
Summer is upon us, so The Beach provides 85 tonnes of sand which creates the perfect opportunity to play in the sand. Be sure to bring along your bucket and spade!
I had to include a more traditional option which tourists love. See the beautiful and busy streets of London from high up in the sky. You can purchase tickets for The Eye and find out more information on Discount London.
Afternoon Tea with B Afternoon Tea Bus Tour
This is a tourist bus tour around the capitals tourist attractions, serving afternoon tea whilst you on board. Sounds like my kind of bus tour to be honest!
Drink some cocktails in a loo
I know this sounds pretty random, but who wouldn’t want to drink cocktails in disused public toilets which have been transformed into swanky little bars.
Cinema and dinner experience
No 1 Aldwych is a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of London, serving bespoke cocktails. The menu is also gluten free and dairy free. You can have a cinema and dinner experience (they have three cinemas!) and it’s the ideal place for an all-in-one date night.
Visiting Camden Market is something which I’ve always wanted to do, but I didn’t get chance to go last time I visited the capital of the UK. Camden Market has a variety of alternative fashion stores, world foods, bars and more.
Whats on your London city break bucket list?
