Over the past week or so, Twitter has been bombarded with photos of delicious brownies taken by Sheffield bloggers. I contacted Boxed Brownies UK who offered to send me a box of their yummy festive brownies which cost £15, in exchange for a review.

I decided to be a good colleague and take the box of brownies from Boxed Brownies UK into the office with me, so everyone at work could try them with me and tell me what they thought!

The Boxed Brownies UK box contained:

Most people headed straight for the Salted Caramel and Cashew brownie. This was lovely and had a fudge texture to it. Mandy said this is the brownie she enjoyed the most.

Amelia, Nicole, Mandy and myself all tried some of the Stollen. Even though it isn’t technically a brownie, this was so nice. It made us feel festive and smelt like Christmas.

Nick decided to try the Cardamom and Ginger brownie, who said he liked it but the ginger wasn’t strong enough for his liking. Melissa also thought the ginger flavour was subtle.

The Amaretto and Rosemary was one of the first ones I tried. I’m not usually a fan of amaretto but this was lovely! It was quite alcoholic but very delicious.

We all tried a bit of the Bonfire Toffee and Marshmallow brownie – I loved the texture of the melted marshamallows on top. This was the majority of the teams favourite. Lewis said he wanted MORE marshmallow topping – which means he approved. Brogan said the flavours of this brownie were delicious but also wanted more topping.

Finally, the Cranberry and Pistachio brownie was really nice, according to Jane. Rachel thought the texture was nice, but she’d like the cranberry to be stronger in flavour.

Thank you to the team at work for taste testing these gorgeous brownies with me and thank you so much to Boxed Brownies UK for sending me a box to sample.

Now, I have even more of an excuse for you to treat a loved one (or yourself) to some Boxed Brownies! You can enjoy 20% OFF a box of Boxed Brownies using the code CHRISTMAS until December 12th 2015. Head over to the Boxed Brownies UK shop on their website. You WON’T regret it.
