Threads are a UK based false eyelashes and brow brand, who recently asked me to write a post with party season make-up looks. I’ve also included a small review of the different sets of lashes I was sent and a festive make-up look I work to a day time Christmas event.

It wasn’t until the year before I moved to Sheffield for university that I really worse false eyelashes. I could never get them to stay on or make them look semi-decent. Then, one day, I gave it a try and ever since then I’ve been able to apply false eyelashes fine. False eyelashes aren’t for everyone but I’m so dependant on them now.

Sex Kitten Lashes

Naturally, I gravitate towards the more dramatic, thicker false lashes. These are perfect for a night out with your friends or to a Christmas party. The Sex Kitten set gives you lashes for days and are quite dramatic, but that’s what I like so much about them.

Vava Voom Lashes

These lashes are much more subtle in my opinion, so I chose to wear them to a day time event (see photo above and below). They were comfortable and the glue kept these lashes on all day. With the Vava Voom Lashes, I decided to give myself a festive look using silver glitter on both my eyelids and under my eyes. Check out the photo below from my Instagram of the complete look I attended the event with.

In the above photograph, I am wearing the Threads Vava Voom Lashes and you can see how they look quite natural, yet long.

Both sets of the Threads lashes are brilliant quality, to be honest. They are very easy to apply and I was very impressed with the glue that came inside the product packaging. Threads lashes were so comfortable to wear, giving a beautiful long lash look.

Do you wear false eyelashes? Have you tried Threads lashes before?
