Blogmas: Festive Snack Ideas

Christmas is all about family, friends and food. Oh, and gift giving – but mostly food. Therefore, I’ve put together this list of festive snack ideas from around the world wide web. Whether you’re having a quiet night in, having some friends over to visit or have the family staying with you over Christmas – hopefully I have selected a little bit of something for everyone.

Caramel Apple & Walnut Pies – Love, Emily Jayne

Emily Jayne has created this wonderful recipe which is a great alternative to mince pies this Christmas. Not everyone loves the traditional fruity mince pie and she has done a brilliant job of creating an easy, but different recipe.

Festive Hot Chocolate – Louise Rose Railton

This festive hot chocolate recipe is absolutely delicious and great for warming yourself up when the weather is cold in winter. You can easily alter my recipe and add your own unique twists and ingredients.

Homemade Honeycomb – DontFaff

I came across Eliza’s delicious recipe for this homemade honeycomb and it sounds/looks so amazing. You can enjoy honeycomb in a variety of different ways, whether it’s on it’s own or alongside your favourite ice cream.

Warming Mulled Apple Recipe – Short Lashes

My beautiful good friend Kirstie recently posted this mulled apple recipe which caught my attention, as itĀ seems like it will taste and smell incredible. I must give it a try myself.

Snowmen Sweets – What Lyd Did (Youtube)

Youtuber What Lyd Did shows us how to make and create these adorable festive themed sweets. She is super creative and so cute.

I do hope you’ve enjoyed reading my guide of festive snack ideas. I’ve tried to include some chocolate based recipes, but also a bit of variety for those who want an alternative to chocolate.

What’s your favourite food to snack on at Christmas? Let me know in the comments.
