There are many covers of Christmas songs floating around in the world, but I personally enjoy pop punk covers. I’ve collected a list of some of my favourite pop punk Christmas song covers. So, pour yourself a glass of mulled wine, throw some tinsel on the tree, turn up the tunes and have yourself a merry little Christmas.
I only discovered the Jimmy Eat World Last Christmas cover this year, when putting together a playlist with my boyfriend. It’s actually a really good cover and this is definitely a new favourite of mine. I can’t stop myself from listening to it on repeat.
On The Ropes – Stay Another Day (East 17 cover)
On The Ropes have a tradition now of creating a Christmas cover every year. Last years cover was Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, so this year the boys recorded their Stay Another Day cover with Innersound Studios. Please check out the video above and listen to their awesome cover of East 17.
All I Want For Christmas Is You is one of the most popular Christmas songs of all time, and this cover by My Chemical Romance is great.
This is one of my favourite covers ever, I’m a huge fan of the Nightmare Before Christmas and have watched it every year for years now. This cover by Fall Out Boy is just so brilliant and perfect.
Merry Christmas you guys! I hope you’ve enjoyed this selection of pop punk festive covers. It can be nice to listen to your favourite Christmas song covers by pop punk artists, as it’s something a bit different and a change to the traditional Christmas songs.
