Manchester is a busy, but beautiful city with a variety of things to do. It’s a great time to live or visit there. New bars, restaurants and alternative establishments are continuously popping up all over the place. Dating in Manchester can be so fun as there is a mixture of traditional and more alternative date night options. You’ve secured the date, but you’re fed up of pubs and clubs. Opt for something a little different by checking out my suggestions in this blog post. Always remember to put your safety first – you can Ask For Angela in most cities across the UK and have a friend/relative on standby as a back-up if you feel it’s necessary.
All Star Lanes
If you’re anything like me and Kiel, you’ll be happy with a good burger on your date night. As you can probably guess from the name, All Star Lanes offers bowling, great food, drink and so much more. Known as a luxury bowling destination, you can book a booth, play some games of bowling, or enjoy some delicious food & cocktails.
As an alternative date night suggestion, I’ve decided to include Chill Factore if you prefer a more active date activity. You can hit the slopes, take skiing or snowboarding lessons, shop, grab a bite to eat and more! Located less than four miles from the city centre, Chill Factore is a great alternative date night option for those who are interested in doing something a little different.
Have a laugh
Comedy nights are popular in larger cities. Show case your talents on your date night by attending the famous comedy haunt, The Comedy Store. Check out their “What’s On” section to see the variety of events they host, with special guests (sometimes well known/famous) and food packages are available. There is an array of comedy clubs and shows across the city, so I’d suggest doing a little research and look into which one you would most prefer to attend.
There are plenty of gigs, concerts and music events happening in the city throughout the year. Kiel and I have the same taste in music, so we have gone on date nights to Manchester and we have attended pop-punk gigs on many occasions now, as that’s our music preference. This busy city is home to Manchester Arena, O2 Apollo, Band On The Wall, Albert Hall, The Ritz, Manchester Academy, The Deaf Institute, plus many, many more venues!
The Manchester dating scene is incredibly varied and there are plenty of options to look into, as these are just a few of the available options. If you are looking to meet someone, dating sites and apps can be useful. Be clear in your bio about what kind of dating you are looking for/interested in. There are also speed dating events which you can attend to meet other Manchester singles. Try to pick a location where you are both going to feel most at ease. As previously mentioned, your safety is the most important thing and you should always put your safety first.
