The absolutely lovely Hannah Lee has tagged me for the 8 Photos Of Happiness challenge. We all need positivity in our lives, which is why I’m more than happy to take part in this one.
Rules and explanations of this tag:
1. My mum
My amazing mum is my best friend. This is one of my favourite photos of us in Marmaris, Turkey on holiday. We had an amazing holiday and I loved every second of it. Love you mum!
2. Yankee Candles
If you know me, you will know about my yankee candle obsession. I always seem to treat myself to yankee canles when I feel low. They instantly make me happy, I light a couple of candles every night.
My old lady is over 13 years old now. Every time I return home, she comes over for cuddles. She loves having naps with me, but that’s probably just because my bed is so comfy. We bought her from the RSPCA, after she was parted from her previous owners. She’s lived a lovely life and I love her.
4. Simba – my cute little hamster
I rescued Simba about six months into her life. She is now just under 3 years old! She’s had such an amazing life and is so loved. I did think she was a boy (oops) until recently, when I realise she is actually a female hamster.
5. Bonnie & Honey
After the death of my amazing dog, Bob who nothing/no one could ever replace, these two beautiful girls arrived in my life. I love going home and seeing the dogs/my family. Bonnie loves her cuddles with me and is so loyal. Honey is feisty but sweet, she knows exactly how to act and what cute things to do when she might be in trouble. Love my girls.
6. Robin – my adorable nephew
Earlier this year my step sister gave birth to this gorgeous little man. He is perfect! I love this photograph of me having my first cuddles with Robin. He loved snuggling into my arms because I had a cosy wrap around me. I don’t get to see Robin and my family as much as I’d like to. He’s growing up so fast.
7. New Job
I have some EXCITING news! I’ve decided not to follow the career path that my degree is in, as it’s just not for me. After temping in the NHS for a while, I’ve now been offered an exciting job in the NHS which I’m really happy about. I’m so excited to see what the future holds for me. I received this absolutely adorable card for my current work mates.
Last year I graduated from university after 4 years of hard work. Some people thought I wouldn’t do it, but I did! I’m so proud of myself and the things I achieved during university. University is where I did the majority of my growing up. After graduating, I’ve continued to live and work in Sheffield.
Thank you so much for reading my answers and looking at my 8 photos!
