If you feel like skipping and singing, it’s a sign that spring is in the air. I love spring, as it’s good way to freshen up my spring look wardrobe.. The sun, flowers in bloom, the natural fragrances and fresh air. Every time this season hits, I want to try something new and reinvent myself. Read on to see my 5 ways to get a fresh spring look.
Try eating fresh, seasonal foods like apricots, radishes, artichokes, scallions, asparagus, rhubarb, avocados, carrots, fava beans, mustard greens, fennel, arugula, mushrooms and eggs – to help you alter your diet. Springtime dishes are lighter than greasy hearty winter ones which will help you lose weight organically. Spring veggies have a lot of fibre and are water-rich foods that help fill you up. Start every meal with a salad and load up on veggies as side dishes. If you’re not a fan of veggies and fruit, you may want to take a supplement as an alternative. For a wide-range of reviews on dietary supplements, you can check out the site Analyze That.
Nothing says spring like a new outfit. Check out all the latest fashion trends like asymmetrical necklines. When you accent your outfit, don’t forget the sunglasses, as there are so many varieties and styles to choose from. Ditch those boots and tennis shoes and replace them with beautiful sandals or put a new spring in your step and go clear this season by using transparent shoes and accessories.
Get a Haircut
Kick off your new spring look with a new haircut. It’s time to welcome in the warm weather with a new look. What’s hot this season? It’s all about the bob and asymmetry! Try an asymmetrical bob or a choppy bob. Naomi Watts’s choppy bob is one of the hottest haircuts this spring. It can fall above or below the chin and has subtle wispy layers.
Refresh Your Make-up
Ditch your old make-up and buy all new stuff. Mascara and liquid eyeliner have the shortest shelf life and should be replaced every 3 to 4 months. Liquid foundation can remain stable for up to a year. Lip gloss is safe to use for at least 6 months and lipstick for a year. Powders you can safely use for 18 months to 2 years. Not only is it a good idea to buy all new makeup but it’s also good to change your look. Try ultra-violet hues on smudgy, iridescent eyes, which are on trend right now. Blend three hues of violet across your eyelids for a gradient look, or even dust a layer of lavender around your lash lines for a subtle, softer look. Either way, you will look hot!
Mani + Pedi
Show off your nails and toes this spring with hundreds of new ideas, ranging from minimalist nail-art options, fresh natural floral-inspirations to metallic accents that shine. Try some of these
ideas like petal nails, metallic gold, cat-eyes, checkerboard look, zig-zags or even graffiti art. Whatever you fancy is fine, test your creativity and you could even set your own trend this spring.
