Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful Mums/Mother figures out there!
Our mothers spend years bringing us up, in the hope that one day their daughters/sons will become their best friend. Here’s 5 reasons why my mum is so amazing:
1. She made me the person I am today.
Nobody is perfect, but I’m 24 now and proud of the person I’m growing into. She taught me all I needed to know about trying to be a good person. She’s always encouraged me to do well and succeed.
2. She knows that there are some things I just have to figure out on my own.
Life throws obstacles our way quite often, which can be hard because our mums always want to try help us. However, when it was best to let me figure things out on my own, she did just that. I think it shows she has a lot of faith in me and the decisions I make.
3. Even when she’s upset with me, I know she loves me.
Like everyone else, we do argue. Everyone makes mistakes in life and even when I’ve probably pushed my mum to the limit, she’s always made sure that I know she still loves me.
4. She’s beautiful inside and out.
She’s always helping others, even when they don’t properly appreciate her help. She has such a kind heart.
5. She’s truly my best friend.
My mum tries her best to come and visit me at least once a month. I always look forward to her next visit. We also speak pretty much every day on the phone.
My mum’s the best.
What do you love most about your mum/mother figure?
