Eating out is wonderful, as I love trying out different dining establishments and tasting different varieties of foods. Squaremeal asked me to write a blog post about my dream dining locations in London. I love looking into topics such as this, especially in London, as there is such a variety of dining experiences. Have a read below, of my five dream dining locations in London and see what you think of them.
Based on the fifth floor of Harrods is a fine dining hidden gem, Chai Wu. With an extensive menu and quality dishes, bloggers such as Kelly Prince Writes really recommend this unique dining experience. Her review of Chai Wu is an interesting read, explaining in detail about how experience, and the food looks so delicious in all of her photos.
Bus. The Foodaholic is a blog dedicated to luxury food, travel and hotels, who wrote a wonderful blog post about her experience of sightseeing and fine dining on a bus! I can see from her blog post and photos, the food looks absolutely incredible and it looks like it would be such a wonderful experience. The company, Bustronome, even run the fine dining bus experience in PARIS! I’d be happy to experience the fine dining bus in either London or Paris, if I’m honest haha.
I read an review online of Hoppers which states “Sometimes, very good things come in very small packages” as the restaurant is apparently quite small and quaint, but reviews online state that the food is incredible. The food is said to be packed full of delicate flavours and fragrances. Named online as one of the best restaurants in Soho, I’d love to give Hoppers a visit one day!
Door 74 in London has now closed down, unfortunately, which is such a shame to be honest. However, Door 74 in Oxford was on my to-do list for a long time. I had the amazing opportunity of visiting Door 74 in Amsterdam and I would have loved to visit the London establishment. Sadly, it is no more. If you do get the chance to visit Door 74 in Amsterdam, I would definitely recommend it!
I had to include at least one food establishment which is known for how Instagrammable it is. Walking into the Collins Room is said to be like a breath of fresh air, as everything is so white, bright and crisp. Well known for their Prêt-à-Portea afternoon tea, which is currently priced at £58 per person and inspired by the world of fashion, this is somewhere I would absolutely love to visit at some point in the near future. I could honestly spend hours looking at peoples tagged photos on Instagram of their fashion inspired afternoon tea.
Are any of these on your list of dream dining locations in London? If not, which ones are on your list? (whether you’ve visited them already or are yet to visit). I would love to know yours. Let me know in the comments section.
